Did you ever go on journey with a hot air balloon? I didn't yet but would love to someday! It looks so adventurous and so much fun! And when I saw the Graphic 45 World's Fair collection with that gorgeous big hot air balloons, I just had to have it! I was thinking for some time how to create a sky so that it would have this soft and cloudy look and I experimented a little. I think it came out beautifully! What do you think? I invite you to scroll through the pictures and if you wish to see the whole process and maybe get some ideas, I invite you to visit my youtube channel, where I have a tutorial waiting for you!
I wish you a nice evening and a great, adventurous, unforgettable weekend ahead!
It's been a while since I made my last canvas and yesterday I was in the right mood to make another one. I was inspired by gorgeous Moodboard in Mixed Media Moods.
I tried to gather as many inspiration of of it as I could... the paper with some smudges like in first picture, the cluster with similar texture as on the second picture, the paintbrush end on the butterfly and of course the gorgeous butterfly. Added some black stars on the cluster and some gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to finish off the canvas.
Hope you'll like it. I also have a youtube tutorial for you at the end of the post. Hope you get inspired too! <3
I love papers and material that allow me to create stories. Today's "story" is a journey around the globe, so I created a mixed media galaxy on the suitcase box with a half of a globe with deep blue seas and fresh green landscapes. I put cityscapes and buildings from all around the world on that globe, creating a composition. Inside the box there is a mini tag album where you can keep your memories from the amazing journey.
I used several 13 dots mixed media mediums and gorgeous Graphic 45 Cityscapes paper collection. I also created a video tutorial for those of you who would like to create something similar by yourself.
Hope you'll like it. I'll be happy to hear your thoughts and comments.
I'm with you today again with my new spring project for you, this time with my post for WIld Orchid Crafts DT, to get you inspired and to get your crafting mojo on. :)
I have to tell you I can not wait for the spring to come. I so much enjoy the warmth of the first spring sunshine, the smell and colorful play of the blossoming flowers, the joyous singing of birds, the nature bursting and awakening in all her glory. Are you the same? This off the page project - box with a blossoming birdcage, took me on the springtime walk for a moment. I enjoyed it so much and I hope you will too.
I've also prepared a youtube tutorial for those of you who would like to make this by yourself with all the links to the products used.
I used several Wild Orchid Crafts gorgeous flowers for this box. You can get yours and much more at the Wild Orchid Crafts webshop. Here are the links to the ones I used today:
Walking in the garden, smelling the fragrant blossoms, hearing the birds sing their songs - secret garden full of breathtaking, beautiful nature's creations. Can't wait for this time of the year to come. So I created one of my favourite off the page projects - mini treasure box, which hides the magical secret garden. Graphic 45 "Secret Garden collection" was just perfect for it. All those beautiful images really capture the spirit I wanted to created. Adding some gentle Scrapiniec chipboards and some gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts blossoms, they make a perfect match.
I invite you to take a walk through my little garden and fill up your spirit.
Have a great day!
