“Blooming Garden” Altered Box and Money Gift Envelope

Hello again dear friends. Here I am again with my first Graphic 45 inspiration in this year. I decided to
use one of the gorgeous Graphic 45 collections that I haven’t had the opportunity to work with yet -
the Flutter Collection. It is simply amazing. I altered an ATC G45 Box and made a Blooming Garden
with a Water Fountain. This beautiful Box is perfect for a gift to someone you love and cherish, so I also made a Money Gift Envelope to go along. Hope you'll like my project and it brings you some inspiration! <3

Finnabair's New Metal frames

Hello dear friends,

I have another project to share with you from the upcoming new Finnabair release. For all of those who love altering objects, this release will be perfect! There are several new metal frames coming in shops and I absolutely adore them. One of them that I received early to try out is this gorgeous Birdhouse. I altered it into a House for an Owl, using warm autumn tones. I used several art alchemy paints and rust paste in combination with new waxes and mica powders. All these will be soon available in your favourite stores! Hope you'll like them like I do!

New Unicorn Paste and waxes from Finnabair

Hi my dear friends,

I'm sure you've allready seen the new release from Prima by Finnabair? It is AMAZING! I've had the honours and joy to try of both allready and I'm totally totally in love! The new Unicorn paste is a must, specially for all who like to create dreamy and magical projects. It is easy to apply and has a transparent finish with lots of sparkle You can apply it on top of every color it suits you or even mixed it with some colors or mica powders to create your own unique paste. And the new waxes are stunning too! They have added pigment inside, which makes them really special and gives them good coverage! I love them and the new colors are so so beautiful! Oh and not even mentioning... they smell absolutely delicious! Both Unicorn paste and new waxes are an absolute MUST HAVE for all who love enjoying in Mixed Media art. I'm sure you'll love them to bits.

I've played with them a bit and made this beautiful Unicorn out of a Horse, with a sleigh carrying an important message from Finnabair Art Daily release: "Quit hiding your magic. The world is ready for you!".

Dream moments to Remember

I'm very excited to share with you my Dusty Attic inspiration for the month of January. I was always in love with these gorgeous Dusty Attic Dreamcatchers and it felt perfect for the first month of the year to use them on my planner. This is the time when we analize our past year, make plans and dream sweet dreams for the year to come. But it is also important not to forget that it is the small everyday moments that count most and make our lives rich.

I used few of my favourite Dusty Attic chipboards in the combination with AB Studio papers "Dreamland". I covered the big Dusty Attic Dreamcatcher with Finnabair Dusty Rose Impasto paint and on top of it with two Texture Fantasy Rust Pastes "Taupe Rose" and "Cream". On the background paper I used beautiful Dusty Attic Distressed Diamonds stencil. I couldn't avoid using also the perfect Dusty Attic quote from Quoted Sentiments collection. It fitted perfectly.

I added some stamping and some white splashes with diluted white acrylic paint. I love the effect it gives to the project.

This is my last post for this year. Soon it will be New Year and I wanted to make something special for you to wish you a Happy New Year 2019, lots of Happiness, Love, tons of Beautiful moments to cherish and remember and a prosperous Year ahead.

This gorgeous "Garden Goddess" collection from Graphic 45 seemed a perfect choice for such Beautiful and Warm Wishes. I made an Altered Watering can on a gift box. 

"Be in the moment" Altered Winter Lantern

Hi dear Finnabair friends and fans,

Christmas is very very near, knocking on the door! Soon it will be New Year's day. I love Christmas and New Year. It always reminds me of my childhood memories, which I cherish so much more, since both my parents are now gone way too soon. I remember Christmas as beeing special time of the year, when everything slowed down and there was enough time for some beautiful Family moments. Time spent together, making memories to cherish for life. But I noticed that things are changing in the last few years. Life is getting too bussy and we are constantly chasing some things that we still have to do. And we so easily forget what really matters in this special and precious time of the year. 

Inspired by that thought I have today for you an altered Lantern that reminds me of cozy and warm Christmas moments in our Homes with those we love. "Be in the moment" this Holidays. Not to chase arround to catch as many shallow Holiday moments as possible, but just to enjoy in those few special ones. 

I was looking for such Lantern to alter for quite some time and it just happened so that it came to my path right on time to make this poject for you.

"Dream Without Fear" Altered Box for Finnabair

It's my turn to inspire you today on amazing Finnabair blog. For this beautiful Fall time of the year I wanted to create something in rich, warm colors. I love Fall and I love changings of the seasons. There is something magical and exciting about it that sparkles my imagination and fills me up with Hope and Expectation!

I just received my supplies from new Art Daily release and a particular stamp caught my attention, so I decided to make a sunny altered Box with it. I hope you'll like it!

Altered Bee Heart Bottle with Lindy's gang

It's my turn today on Lindy's gang blog to share some inspiration with you. For some time now I wanted to alter a bottle and I felt right time finally came. So I decided to alter a bottle with a heart shaped stopper. The transformation proccess is actually quite simple, when using amazing Lindy's gang magicals. Did I ever tell you they are absolutely one of my favourite mediums to color with? I just love them to bits! Today is the first day of the new month and this means a new color challenge over at Lindy's gang blog. I love this month's color palette with its warm autumn shades. I'm a bit quiet here these days. I've been sick, I had severe pneumonia and sadly still not quite recovered yet. But it's getting better. Anna (aka Finnabair) is lately talking a lot about Art beeing a healing place, something we can run to when all seems overwhelming in this world and it is very beautifuly said. I find myself lately to often think about whether others will like my ideas behind my projects or not, when starting them. And it's good that we remember in these moments that art is for us and about us firstly and that it is our way of expressing ourselves and our emotions. We should not forget that. These thoughts inspired my today's mixed media Tag that I've made with gorgeous Graphic 45 "Old Curiosity Shoppe" DCE collection and Graphic 45 kraft tags, using also some fabulous Lindy's gang and Finnabair products.

"Moonlight Dreams and Whispers" for Finnabair

Hello dear friends! 

I'm so so excited and happy to be here with you for the first time as Finnabair Creative team member to inspire you and bring you some fresh ideas! I've created for you a project "Moonlight Dreams and Whispers".

My heart always skips a bit when getting an idea of altering some unusual objects and incorporating them into my projects. I had this idea of altering a reaping hook - sickle, but wasn't sure how to do it. But I somehow realized through the years, that you have to sometimes just jump in it and just enjoy creating and there is no doubt something beautiful will come out of it. I used it to support my composition. Can you spot it?

Altered Notebook "Galaxy Dreams" with Lindy's gang

Hi my dear sweet friends. Days in our Family our running short these last few weeks. Kids started school again and with all of their obligations, work arround the home, my custom orders and DT work... boy! I wish I could add few hours to the day. I'm realizing that good planning is becoming more and more important. So I decided I'll make myself another Notebook to write down things. And I thought... well... why not share it with you also.

So today I have for you A magical Notebook I made for my Lindy's gang DT project. I also prepared a video tutorial, so you can make one yourself also! I hope you'll like it! 

"Halloween in Wonderland" Altered Pumpkin Box

Hello my dear crafty friends. Today I'm back with you to share something from the Dark side of the world. Halloween is nearing and it's time to put that gorgeous re-released "Halloween in Wonderland" DCE collection from Graphic 45 into play. This is by far one of the best existing Halloween paper collections ever! At least for me! I just love it! And I love Alice in Wonderland, so this is just right my alley!

Some time ago I bought this ceramic pumpkin with lights and I really really wanted to alter it. And I decided to save it for this paper collection. I could just imagine how well they'll work together. I put the pumpkin on a Graphic 45 Black ATC Book Box, so I actually made a box and you can save some delicious Halloween treats in it! Isn't that fun?! I hope you'll like my project and it inspires you to make something with this amazing collection too!

"Take flight" altered notebook

Hi dear friends,

I'm here with yet another project today, this time I went a bit darker and altered a notebook. As a DT gift I received tons on amazing goodies yesterday from amazing Kelly who owns 7 kids Your crafting store, mostly Finnabair brand, which I longed for for such a long time. And she made my wish come true. 

So I decided to do a little "Thank you" notebook that I thought she'd like with amazing Finnabair and Graphic 45 goodies. I hope you'll like it too!

"Beauty and Joy of the nature" tags with AB Studio

I'm here with you with some fresh inspiration for AB Studio by our lovely Aga Baraniak again today. I decided to make two beautiful and flourishing tags with her new Paper elements "Something Blue". I also used the stencil which I thought fitted perfectly - Stencil #93 

I was using lots of Lindy's gang and Finnabair products to go along and also some gorgeous new Scrapiniec chipboards I just received.

I'm here with you again today, to share my first project for the amazing Mixed Media & Art DT. I love this blog, so becoming a part of their Design Team was a special honour. I'm always inspired and pushed over my creative and imagination boundaries with their fabulous Moodboards. This month's Moodboard was no exception. From the first minute I saw it, I knew what I'll be making. I've had this idea about a Sundial - a sun clock in my mind for some time now, but without the final vision how to make it happen. With this moodboard it all became clear.

"Botanical Tea" Photo Album in a Tea Bag

I'm here with you today to inspire you with a new Graphic 45 project. If you are at least a bit of a mixed media soul, you'll probably be able to identify yourself with me, when it comes to throwing things into the garbage. Like those gorgeous paper bags that each hold one Tea bag?Aren't they just too cute to throw them out?! Well... I thought so! So I decided to instead use them like little pockets for tags with photos. It's a lovely way to replace classic photo albums. Of course I made a gorgeous box with an altered Tea cup to go along, using Graphic 45 Kraft ATC Book Box. I decorated everything with a perfect collection for it - Botanical Tea Deluxe Collector's Edition. Hope you'll like my idea and my project!
