Fluttering by ... in PDCC94

Po malo daljšem času nova voščilnica in nova objava. Tokrat me ni izdalo pomanjkanje časa ampak pomanjkanje inspiracije. No ja... tudi to se zgodi. Včasih se sprašujem, ali se to dogaja še komu ali imam samo jaz take premore, ko enostavno ne spravim iz sebe nič kar bi vsaj približno ustrezalo mojemu okusu. Je pa tale voščilnica nastala kot bi mignil. Vse je šlo po načrtih in kot sem si zastavila v mislih. Očitno je bil premor le za nekaj koristen. Upam, da tudi v prihodnje ne zmanjka idej. Tokrat objavljam voščilnico za "Play Date Cafe" blogovski izziv, katerega tema je bila tokrat slednja barvna paleta.

After a while a new card and a new blog post. This time it wasn't a lack of time that is guilty for this break, it was a lack of inspiration and creativity. I guess this happens also. Sometimes I wonder if I am the only one with this kind of creativity breaks, when I just can't put together something "tasty to my eyes". But I have to say that this card was really easy-going. All went according to my plans and my idea so the break was good for something I guess. I hope the creativity wont leave me again soon. This time I want to show you a card that I made for "Play Date Cafe" which this time features the following color scheme:

Osrednji barvni odtenki so torej: Fudge, Goldenrod in Teal. Osnovo za voščilnico sem vzela v čokoladno rjavi barvi, dodala zlatorumeno podlago in nanjo sivomodro osnovo. Za osnovni motiv sem izbrala metuljčke v kombinaciji s pisavo in štampiljko Hero Art "Antique background". Slednjo sem odtisnila na bel pravokoten karton, ki sem ga izrezala z nestiji, in embosirala z embossing prahom Tima Holtza "faded jeans" ter osenčila z distress blazinico "mustard seed". Okrasila sem jo z dvema trakovoma - rumenim in belo rjavkastim in na voščilnico pritdila s 3d blazinicami. Večjega metuljčka sem ponovno odtisnila tokrat z embossing prahom v rjavem odtenku "walnut stain", ga pobarvala z rumenim distressom in okrasila z dvema modrima biserčkoma. Metuljčka sem izrezala in ga nekoliko upognjenega, z dvignjenimi krili prilepila na spodnjega.

The main color shades according to the color scheme are: Fudge, Goldenrod and Teal. I took the base for the card in a shade of fudge, added Goldenrod and teal blue background. The main motif is made with "Hero Art" stamp "Antique background", embossed with embossing powder "faded jeans" from Tim Holtz and shaded with distress pad "mustard seed". I added tiny yellow and white-brown ribbon and attached all on a base with 3d pads. I again stamped a big butterfly and embossed it, this time with embossing powder "walnut stain". I colored it and added two small blue pearls on the wings. I cut out the butterfly and attached it with a glue on a bottom one with its wings up. The colors on the pictures are slightly different than in reality. The blue color is not so strong.

Enak dizajn sem uporabila v notranjosti. Odtisnila sem male metuljčke in napis: "Just fluttering by to say happy B-day".

I used the same design in the inside of the card. I stamped small butterflies and a saying: "Just fluttering by to say happy B-day".

"Sweet Roses" in PDCC92

Moji punčki počivata in mamica ima končno spet čas, da kaj lepega objavi. :) Tokrat voščilnico, ki sem jo izdelala za blogovski izziv "The Play Date Cafe", ki je barvno obarvan. Ustvarjale bloga vsak teden objavijo barvno paleto, ki naj bi bila glavni fokus izdelka. Tokrat so barvno paleto sestavljale koralna, nežna roza in antična zlata. Pri tem je interpretacija barv prepuščena ustvarjalkam. Dovoljeno pa je dodati zgolj barve, ki so nevtralne. Spodaj je slikica barvne palete, ki predstavlja izziv.

"My sweet little girls are finally resting, my husband is off biking, and I have finally again some time for myself to finish off my last post on the blog. I made a card for the blog challenge "The Play Date Cafe". It is my first contribution for this, color themed challenge blog. The main focus of the blog each week is color palete in form of some kind of "color fairytale". This time the color palete was made of "coral", "petal pink" and "antique gold". The interpretaion of the colors is left to each designer, and we can add colors that are neutral. Bellow is the photo of the "color fairytale"."

Izdelala sem voščilnico, katere osnova je rjav recikliran karton, nanj pa sem pritrdila najprej roza, nato belo podlago in nato preko polovice voščilnice ozadje v antično zlatem odtenku, preko druge polovice pa v kombinaciji nežnega antično zlatega odtenka in koralnih rožic. Ob robu sem podlago ročno pošila z belimi drobnimi šivi, čez sredino pa sem dodala trak v nežni roza barvi z belimi pikicami in vrvico s pentljico na desnem robu, ki ima na sredini dodan roza razcepek z belimi pikicami. Osrednji motiv predstavlja motiv vrtnice z vijugami, ki sem ga odtisnila s prozorno blazinico in embosiralla s embossing prahom Tima Holtza v odtenku "Vintage photo", na ovalno podlago, izrezano in embossirano z nestiji ter osenčeno z distress blazinico v odtenku "Victorian Velvet". Vse skupaj sem pritrdila na nekoliko večjo podlago iz rjavega recikliranega kartona, motiv pa sem s 3d blazinicami pritrdila na voščilnico. Dodala sem še napis "Happy birthday", ki je natisnjen s printerjem v koralnem odtenku in izrezan z nestiji, ob robu sta dodana dva majhna razcepka v nežni roza barvi, napis pa je s 3d blazinicami pritrjen na voščilnico.

"I made a card, for which the base is brown recycled paper, on which I first attached a soft pink designer paper and on top of it white paper with small embossed circles. On top of lower part of the white paper is a paper in the color of antique gold with smal white dots, and on top of an upper part there is a designer paper in soft brownish color with coral flowers. I made handmade stitches around the base of the card and on the middle there is a soft pink ribbon with white dots and another ribbon which ends with a bow and a pink pin with white dots in the middle. The main motif of the card are roses with beautiful curves, which I stamped with clear stamp pad and embossed with Tim Holtz embossing powder in "Vintage photo". I wanted to use a golden powder but I didn't have one from Tim Holtz. I tried with other one and was greatly dissapointed. i think from now on I will be only buying embossing powders from Tim Holtz. The roses are stamped on an oval base which I cut out and embossed with "nesties". I attached the oval on a little bigger oval brown recycled base and shaded the edges with distress pad in "Victorian Velvet". I attached the motif on a card ith 3d pads. I also added a saying "Happy birthday" which I printed out in coral color and cut it with "nesties". I added two small pins in soft pink color. on each side and attached the saying on the card also with 3d pads."

Tudi notranjost je dodelana z enakimi materiali.

"The inside of the card is made out with same materials as the front of the card."

"Just because ... "

En lep pozdravček vsem. Končno je spet malo posijal sonček, kot se za poletje spodobi. Iz čistega veselja sem si za današnje ustvarjanje izbrala temu primerno sončno rumeno barvo, ki sem jo kombinarala z belo in nekoliko črne. Izdelala sem voščilnico za tokratni izziv "Less is More", katerega tema je "Button or Ribon". Jaz sem se odločila za oboje... tako kot večina preostalih ustvarjalk. Kot osrednji motiv sem uporabila štampilkjo, ki je sicer namenjena izdelavi ozadja, z vijugicami. Odtisnila sem jih na podlago, ki sem jo predhodno izrezala z nestiji, in sicer je odtis v črni barvi, notranjost pa sem pobarvala z rumeno. Vse skupaj sem pritrdila na nekoliko večjo podlago nežno rumene barve, prav tako izrezano z nestiji. Na motiv sem pritrdila napis "Just because" izpisan v krogu in na sredino prilepila rumen gumbek z belo mašnico. Vse skupaj je s 3d blazinicami pritrjeno na belo ozadje z rumenim robom, ki je zelo nežno embosirano s podobnimi vijugicami in olepšano z drobnim rumenim trakcem.

"One nice hello to all. Finally we have some sun shining again, like it should be in the summer time. I was so happy that I decided to use sunny yellow for my card, which I combined with white and a little bit of black. I made a card for this week's challenge over at "Less is More", the theme of which is "Button or Ribon". I decided to use both... like many other ladies. As a main motif I used a stamp, which is meant to be used for creating the background, with nice a little bit floral curves. I made an imprint on a base which I previously cut out with "nesties". The imprint is made in black color and colored with yellow inside. I attached the motif on a little bit bigger yellow base, also cut out with "nesties". On the motif I attached in 3D saying "Just because", written in a circle and in the middle of it I attached yellow button with white bow. Everything is attached with 3D pads to a white base, which is lightly embossed with similar curves and embellished with a thin yellow ribbon."

Hišne miške in prvo kopanje - House Mouse Baby Bath

No pa sem le izpolnila obljubo in prejšnji voščilnici je kmalu sledila nova. Na "House Mouse" blogu je jubilejni izziv in v ta namen podeljujejo kar nekaj prikupnih darilc. Tema izziva so gumbki, trakci in bleščice (če sem vse čisto ustrezno prevedla). Tele voščilnice sem se že nekaj časa lotevala, včeraj pa se mi je končno porodila ideja, ki sem se je lotila ko so šle punčke spat in zaključila šele okoli 12 ure, tako da je bilo zadnjo noč spanca bolj malo. Namenjena je dobri prijateljici, ki je nedolgo nazaj povila svojo prvo hčerkico.

On the "House Mouse and friends" blog there is a jubilee challenge and for this purpose there is a big giveaway of a fabulous little gifts. The theme of the challenge are "Buttons, Bows and Bling". I've made a card that I've been preparing to make for a little time now and I finally got the idea. Yesterday when my girls were in bed I sat down and played. :) I only finished the card around midnight, so it was quite a short night for me. I've made a card for my great friend who just gave birth to her first daughter. The greeting is allready on its way... :)"

Voščilnica je izdelana v roza-oranžni barvni kombinaciji. Uporabila sem štampiljko hišnih mišk "Squeaky Clean", ki sem jo pobarvala z distress inki in aqua paintbrushem. Uporabila sem distress odtenke "Victorian Velvet", "Dusty Concord", "Spiced Marmelade", "Peeled Paint", "Anique Linen", "Vintage Photo", "Weathered Wood", "Faded Jeans".

"The card is made in a combination of pink and orange colors. I used the House Mouse stamp "Squeaky Clean", which I colored with distress inks and with help of aqua paintbrush. I used shades of distress inks "Victorian Velvet", "Dusty Concord", "Spiced Marmelade", "Peeled Paint", "Anique Linen", "Vintage Photo", "Weathered Wood", "Faded Jeans"."

Uporabila sem dva trakova kot dodatka, v živo roza barvi in prosojno roza s srebrnim napisom "baby", ki sem ga pritrdila na vrh prvega. V sredino mašnice sem dodala večji gumb v oranžno-roza odtenkih, z napisom "celebrate love", ki sem ga prišila z roza šivi in na sredino dodala biserček.

I attached two ribbons, one in pink color and one in translucent pink with a silver writing "baby", which I attached on top of the first one. I made a bow and on the middle of it I added a big button in pink and orange colors with a saying "celebrate love". I attached it on the bow with pink stitches and in the middle of it I added a small pearl."

Tudi osrednji motiv sem nekoliko popestrila z biserčki, ki sem jih prilepila v notranjost milnih mehurčkov, da sem ponazorila svetlikajoč efekt milnice.

"I added pearls also on the main motif, in some of the soap bubbles to give them a more realistic effect."

V notranjost sem odtisnila miško, ki sicer v originalu na nosu drži svečko, le, da sem svečko tokrat izpustila in sem raje dodala droben biserček. Robove sem osenčila z distress blazinico v odtenku "Victorian Velvet".

In the inside of the card I stamped an image of a mouse, which originally has a candle on her nose, but I replaced it with a pearl. I shaded the edges with distress ink in the shade of "Victorian Velvet". "

Circles here, circles there, circles everywhere ...

Uf... Dolgo je že od mojega zadnjega posta. Moram priznati, da imam malo slabe vesti, ampak v tem času je bilo kar nekaj sprememb doma, selitev in ogromno vsega. To sicer ne pomeni, da v tem času nisem nič ustvarjala, so pa bili moji ustvarjalni trenutki zapolnjeni z izpolnjevanjem naročil - čez smo dali nekaj večjih porok in rojstnodnevnih zabav. Bloge sem kljub temu redno spremljala, predvsem ustvarjalke na izzivu "Less is more", ki mi je, moram priznati, kar prirasel k srcu. Vesela sem, da sem za tokratni izziv končno tudi sama ponovno uspela pripraviti voščilnico, ki že lepo počiva v škatli, skupaj s preostalimi in čaka na svojo priložnost, da odpotuje k izbrancu ali izbranki.

Well... there's been quite a long time since my last post on the blog. I have to admit, I am feeling a little bit ashamed about that, but there were a few changes in my family, including moving to the new - temporary home, building a house and so on. That doesen't mean that I did not create at all, but my creative moments were mostly filled with completing the orders i received - during this time I have made invitations menus, name tags and so on for a few major weddings and birthday celebrations. Nevertheless I have regularly followed the blogs, especially beautiful creations of LIM ladies on "Less is more" challenge blog. I am really happy for the fact that I was finally also able again to make a greeting for this week's challenge, which by the way is allready waiting in a box with some other cards to be sent to the "choosen one".

Tema tokratnega izziva na "Less is more" so bili krogi - "Circles". Ideja je hitro padla, voščilnica sledila kmalu zatem, šele danes pa sem našla čas, da svoje ustvarjanje tudi objavim na blogu. Za voščilnico sem uporabila belo ozadje z embosiranimi belimi krogci, nanj pritrdila na levo polovico reciklirano rjavo podlago, ki ima po robu izsekane krogce, nanjo pa zeleno ozadje z belimi krogci.

This week's challenge on "Less is more" were "Circles". The idea was quickly born and the greeting followed shortly afterwards, but only today I finally had the time to post it on the blog. For the card I used white background with small embossed circles - dots to be exact. On the left half of it I attached recycled brown base with small circles along the edge, and on top of it a green background with small white circles.

Osrednji motiv - motiv metulja je prav tako zapolnjen s krogci. Odtisnila sem ga z olivno zelenim embossing prahom na belo okroglo podlago, izrezano z nestiji. Na mesto glavice sem mu pritrdila zelen okrogel razcepek. Še ena slikica od blizu.

The main motif - a butterfly is also filled with circles. I made an imprint with olive green embossing powder on a white circle cut out with nesties. I distressed the edges with "Peeled Paint". On the head of the butterfly I attached a small green circle-shaped pin. I enclose another closeup picture of the card.

Moja prva voščilnica po dolgem času. Upam, da vam je všeč in da bo kmalu sledila kakšna nova. Uživajte na ta lep sončni poletni dan. :)

Darilna kolekcija voščilnic - A Gift collection of greetings - "Flowers".

Najprej se želim zahvaliti Mandi in Chrissie za priznanje na blogu "Less is More" - moje vabilce, ki je nastalo na podlagi skice prejšnjega tedna je namreč bilo izbrano med 6 najizvirnejših. Veselje je bilo zelo zelo veliko. HVALA! :)

First I want to thank Mandi and Chrissie for the recognition on their blog "Less is More" - my invitation, which I made based on their sketch from previous week was ShowCASed. I am so very happy. THANK YOU both! It means so much to me! :)


In zadaj na tokratni izziv. Tokrat je bil izziv "Less is More" navdih, da je nastala celotna kolekcija voščilnic, za katere sem oblikovala tudi darilno embalažo, da jih lično opremljene lahko podarimo svojim najdražjim za njihov praznik in poskrbimo, da bodo voščilnice za njihove ljubljene vedno pri roki.

And now for this week's challenge. Challenge at "Less is more" was this time an inspiration for a complete collection of greeting cards, for which I also designed a gift box, so you can give them to your dearest ones for their special days and make sure, that they never run out of cards for their love-ones.

Ker je bila tema izziva na "Less is More" tokrat "A touch of red" je seveda najprej nastala rdeče-bela voščilnica s cvetlico in verzom: "Friends are flowers in the garden of life", ki sem ga z Adobe illustratorjem oblikovala v obliko kvadrata okoli roba voščilnice. Izdelala sem tudi pripadajočo kuverto.

Since the theme of this week's "Less is More" was "A touch of Red" I first made the greeting in red and white color combination with a beautiful red flower and a saying: "Friends are flowers in the garden of life", which I designed with Adobe Illustrator in a square arround the edges of a greeting card. I have also made a matching envelope.

"A Dandelion" in "Less is More" Week 8 drugič :)

Pravzaprav je bila tale kolekcija namenjena moji prvi objavi za tokratni "Less is More" challenge s skico. Vendar pa sem med izdelavo vabila dobila idejo za drugo kolekcijo, ki sem jo objavila včeraj in ideja me je tako navdušila, da je morala prvotna počakati na drugo objavo. Tako sem jo dokončala danes.

In fact this collection with Dandelion was meant to be the first one for this week's sketch challenge over at "Less is More". However, during the design of this first one I got another idea for the second collection, which I shared with you yesterday, and I became so enthusiastic about it, that the first one had to wait til today, when I finally had time to finish it off. So here it is...

Kolekcija je oblikovana in narejena na podoben način kot včerajšnja, le da so uporabljene druge barve: bela, siva in zelena. Regratova lučka je odtisnjena najprej s črno barvo, čez pa še s prozorno in embosirana z belim prahom s srebrnimi delci. Tudi papir, ki sem ga uporabila ima motiv regratove lučke.

The collection was designed and made in the same way than yesterday's one, only in different colors: grey, green and white. A Dandelion is stamped in a black color first and than above it with a transperent ink and embossed with white emossing powder with silver parts. The paper I used also has a design with dandelions.

Izdelala sem tudi pripadajočo meni kartico, imensko kartico in darilce za goste.

I also made a matching Menu card, a Name Tag and a Gift for guests.

Grass invite in "Less is More" Week 8

Tema tokratnega "Less is More" blogovskega izziva je skica. Moram priznati, da kar nekaj časa že nisem delala voščičnic v DL dimenzijah, tudi sicer mi niso tako pri srcu. Je pa to idealen format za vabila. Zato sem se odločila, da izdelam vabilo, natančneje kolekcijo rojstnodnevnega vabila, meni kartice, imenske kartice in darilca za goste.

This week's challenge over at "Less is More" was a sketch. I have to admit it's been a long time since I last made an DL card that was required with a sketch provided. I prefer other formats for cards, but I think it is a perfect format for an invitation. So I decidec to make a birthday invitation, to be more specific, collection of birthday invitation, menu card, name tag and a gift for guests.

Vabilo je tako kot skica pokončno. Osrednji motiv predstavlja šop trave, ki sem ga odtisnila s prozornim inkom in ga embosirala z distress prahom Tima Holza v odtenku "Walnut Stain". Osenčila sem ga z distress inki v odtenkih "Mustard Seed", "Spiced Marmelade" in "Antique Linen". Uporabila sem tudi tehniko maskiranja, da sem dodala motiv sonca. Robove sem naluknjala in čez luknje speljala oranžen trak, ki se spodaj zavezuje s pentljo.

The setting of an invitation is portrait. The main motif is a grass, which I stamped with a transparent ink and embossed it with distress powder from Tim Holz in a shade of "Walnut Stain". I shaded the image with distress ink in shades of "Mustard Seed", "Spiced Marmelade" and "Antique Linen". I also used some masking to made an image of the sun. I pierced the edges and put an orange ribbon through the holes, which, at the bottom of an image, ends with a bow.

In the same stile I designed an inside of the invitation.

Izdelala sem tudi pripadajočo meni kartico, ki je v ležečem formatu, imensko kartico in darilce za goste - leseno škatlico premera 7 cm, ki sem jo pobarvala z belo granitno barvo, okrasila z rjavim trakom in na vrh pritrdila enak motiv kot na vabilu.

In the same stile I made a menu card, the setting of which is landscape, a name tag and a gift for guests - a wooden box with diameter of 7 cm, which I colored with white granite paint and decorated it with a brown ribbon and the same motif as the one on invitation.
