"Enchanted Rose" glass dome

Today I share with you my mixed media project inspired by a Disney movie that comes to the cinema this march... "Beauty and the Beast". As soon as I saw the gorgeous movie poster I fell in love and had to try and make it my own way. This is the poster I'm talking about:

The background of the story is about a beast who was once prince. An old beggar woman came to his castle requesting a shelter and offered him a rose. Prince turned the old woman away because of her haggard appearance. But the woman was actually beautiful enchantress and she turned him into a beast and put his castle under a spell because she saw that there was no love in prince's heart. She reminded him that the tru beauty lies within. She left him the rose, promising that it would bloom until his 21 birthday. If he could learn to love and earn love in return before the last petal fell, the spell would be broken.

And this is the project that was inspired by the story and pretty enchanted rose. It was made with 13 arts mediums, Scrapiniec chipboards, Wild orchid crafts flowers and Graphic 45 papers. I added some 23-carat gilding.

And I also made a youtube tutorial for you to learn to make it. :) I hope you'll like it! :)

And this project was also perfect for this month's challenge over at 13 arts: Love is in the air, so I'm happy to join the challenge:

Have a great day!

Bohemian gift box with earings

I love the Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar collection. It's one of the older ones but I love how colorful and vivid it is. And since when I first saw gorgeous bohemian style chipboard collection from Scrapiniec, I instantly got the idea what to do with both. Those pretty Scrapiniec chipboard circles were perfect to make earings with it. So I made a gift box with a pop-up card on top and the hole in the lid which reveals hidden earings. Of course I couldn't resist adding some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to add to the beauty of it and some 13arts crystals for finishing touch! I hope you'll like it. :)

I also made a tutorial for you so you can make your own gift for your dear ones. <3

Hope you are all enjoying first days of the year a lot! Thank you for all your comments and nice words you are leaving me, they mean the world! If you have any questions regarding the making of this project, feel free to ask! It's my pleasure to help! <3

Have a great day! <3

Fairy wings jar

Well... seems that I like fairies very much... lol... :D actually it's just a coincidence that two of my last posts are with fairies, but I just had this idea in my mind and had to gave it out to make space for new ones :D I made a little mixed media jar with fairy wings. I used a lot of 13 arts sprays... realy a lot... and the Wild orchid crafts flowers were perfect to alter the jar. Of course I couldn't resist adding some gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards. Added a quote " If you can dream it, you can do it!" It's true! Your dreams are waiting for you! Grab your fairy wings and fly to meet them! <3

Hope you like my new project. :) And suprise, suprise,... :) I have a youtube video tutorial for you also, so you can make your very own fairy wings jar.

I thought the project fits perfectly to this month's mood board over at Berry71bleu Challenge:

Hope you liked our journey today! :) Have a great day! <3

"Follow your dreams" fairy globe

I was so impatiently waiting for my new Graphic 45 papers to arrive. Are you also like that when waiting for new crafting goodies? :D And in between the New Year Holidays I finally managed to play a little bit. When I say "play" I actually mean it! This was so much fun! Scrapiniec chipboards were a perfect match with my idea and the papers and of course I couldn't resist adding some Wild Orchid Crafts Chrysantemums. I love how this turned out but boy was it hard to take photographs. I find it difficult sometimes to photograph 3D projects and this one was specialy challenging because of the reflection in the globe.

I wanted to create a fairytale land, so I added some sparkling stars and beads on the grass and I almost wish to be a fairy that is sitting on that swing. Well... maybe if I follow my dreams... ;)

There is of course youtube tutorial for you at the end, so you can play too! ;)

Have a great day!

"Secret garden" notebook cover

Hi friends,

Today I have a fresh new project to share with you. My first project for the year 2017. I believe this will be a great year! And today I share with you a "Secret garden" notebook cover, made with gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards, some 13 arts mediums, 7 dots paper for base and butterflies from Lemoncraft paper collection. I used blue and lavender color combination which I love. I tried to create a "peeled paint" look on the cover. And the main idea was like butterflies are flying through the keyhole behind which is the secret garden. I like the way this all turned out. Hope you'll like it to. I also have a youtube tutorial for you at the end of the post. Enjoy watching and have a great day!
