Graphic 45 2019 Brand Ambassador Audition

Hello my dearest friends,

Last year one of my biggest dream ever came true. Dream of becoming Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador. Dream that I worked for hard in the last years. This year, spent with amazing Graphic 45 family was the best one. I can not believe it's allready gone by. It was a hard year for me. Lots of my dear and near people died and this DT allongside of some other happy things that happened was one of the best highlights of the year. I truly enjoyed every minute of this adventure and I would love for it to continue for another year. This would make me so so happy and this is why I couldn't miss the opportunity to apply for this position for another year.

The project that I made is one that I had in my mind for some time now. I wanted to prepare it for the previous year's Audition but I decided then to go with something else instead. I had lots of other ideas this year that I've been playing with in my mind, but eventually decided to go with this one. I altered a Box in a shape of a Book and build "Alice in Wonderland" "Adventure" on top. There were many mixed media techniques also used in this project and I hope it will maybe give you some new tips, tricks and ideas for your creative endaveours. Hope you'll like it.

There is quite a lot going on in my composition, but that's how I thought Alice in Wonderland should look like. It's a weird, magical land with cards dancing arround, bunnies jumping here and there, tea parties,... so I thought this would be the best way to create that spirit.

Alice fell into a rabbit's hole by the tree, so I created a beautiful trea trunk, which is actually the entrance into a Wonderland, where this "gorgeous" frog porter greets you. :)

TIP: I love to use different "trash" items to alter and repurpose them as I did with this tree trunk. It's actually made out of an empty coffee tin and some paper towels as you can also see in my video tutorial that I have prepared for you at the end of this post.

TIP: I love to bring together paper collections and various chipboard collections. One of my favourite are Scrapiniec chipboard, a polish brand that I am also a Brand Ambassador for. They recently released the new "Wonderland" collection that fitted perfectly to my idea and I couldn't wait to join it with this gorgeous Graphic 45 "Halloween in Wonderland" paper collection

If you know my work a bit, you probably learned that I love to do some unusual things with mixed media techniques. So this time arround I decided to create some mixed media cupcakes to add to my Wonderland Tea Party. You can follow the process in my video tutorial and make few by yourselves.

TIP: Be careful for the small details of your project. They count a lot! And they are one of my favourite parts of creating. I usually prepare all my cut-outs from paper and all the chipboard pieces and then I play with them to figure out where I can place them to make them special and to create a story with them.

TIP: One of my favourite things to do is create "water" scenery on my creations. They add some magical charm to my projects. Here I created a Magical river which flows arround the Teapot. I sprinkled it with glitter and small star shaped sprinkles to make it even more magical. And of course I put some beautiful Fairies from "Once upon a Springtime" collection on it. Because Wonderland can not be a Wonderland without Fairies.

TIP: I love using and joining various collections together. And with Graphic 45 mixing and matching different collections is realy and easiest thing to do. They all fit so well together. So here in my project I joined "Halloween in Wonderland", "Once Upon a Springtime" and "Fairie Dust" collections. Oh, and this month we have a challenge on Graphic 45 blog with a theme of Mixing and Matching collections. Join us, there is still some time left. #G45MixandMatch

As I promised you, there is also a video tutorial that you can find on my youtube channel, where you can create along and make your own Graphic 45 Wonderland. Because of the nature of the project the tutorial is a little bit longer, so get yourself a cup of coffee or tea and relax. I chose a gorgeous vintage playful song to go along, the ones that takes you right to the heart of an old, vintage fairytale. Hope you'll enjoy it and maybe learn something from it.

So this is it my dear friends and Graphic 45 family. Thank you for taking time to read my post and thank you Graphic 45 for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing journey of the previous year. I wholeheartedly hope to be able to stay with you for another year. It would be an absolute joy and such an honour.

Enjoy your day and see you back tommorrow! I have for you prepared another amazing project with Graphic 45 and Lindy's gang and I'm so excited to share it with you.

Hugs, Aleksandra
