I'm back with another 3-dymensional project today that I named "Winter love story". Winter inspiration over crafting blogs is overflowing and this time my biggest one was the Mood Board over at Maja Design. Two of their winter collections "I Wish" and "Home for the Holidays" were the centerpiece of this creation. This was the Mood Board:
When I saw it I got the idea that our "canvas" can be pretty much everything and decided to play with plates :) I made the arrangement a floating cup on the plate and inside I created a winter themed love story that I tried to recreate from two pictures from the mood board. Of course the sentiment fitted perfectly. I used gorgeous Scrapiniec and Wycinanka chipboards and 13art and Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays. Oh my goodness... I don't know is it just my imagination or 13arts cinammon spray really smells like cinammon?? I just couldn't stop spraying. :D And here is my creation. Hope you'll like it. Slowly I'm getting into mood for the Winter and Christmas season that is on it's way. My first Chrsitmas project this year was made with MajaDesign gorgeous new collection "I wish" and was inspired by this month's MoodBoard. I made a snowy window with a winter landscape outside and a Santa Claus dashing away. And inside the box I captured a cosy room with a warm fireplace, beautiful Christmas tree and Santa with presents for the little girl whose picture is hanging on the wall. I enjoyed making it so much and am looking forward to make more winter projects... my head is overflowed with ideas. I hope I'll be able to keep up with it. :D So... without further adieu I have for you one of my favourites... altered fairytale chestbox with lots of mixed media goodness... I love making mixed media projects, mostly 3d art. There is something magical in it that makes my heart sparkle :) My today's inspiration came from Mixed Media Place Mood Board, so I made a hot air baloon in the middle of a blooming meadow. I used a lightbulb to create a hot air ballon, some 13arts sprays and rainbows and flowers from various Graphic45 paper collections. I also made a video tutorial for you. Those of you who know my work, are well aware that one of my favourites are exploding boxes. Today I made a mixed media exploding box in autumn colors, with colorful leaves and golden flowers and wishing well. It's perfect for this time and today we've had almost perfect sunny autumn day, so I had my inspiration just looking outside the window. I also made a tutorial for you, so you can make it by yourself. I hope you'll get inspired somehow...
