"Learning to fly" altered Distress ink pad

Hi dear crafty friends,

Today I'm guest designing over at fabulous Mixed media and Art blog. This month's challenge is just awesome, I love the colors so much, so be sure to join us. So many of you asked me to make a video tutorial for my altered Distress ink pad that I shared with you few days ago, that I decided to make another, a bit different one, and also add a tutorial. I was inspired by this month's Mixed media and Art Moodboard, by it's gorgeous colors and also by gorgeous textures on the first photo, by amazing white flowers that reminded me of resin embellishments, by the beautiful blue bottles, by the feathers and by the gorgeous butterfly. It was such a joy playing with this project! I hope you'll like it and it maybe be inspired by it!

Today starts new challenge in fb group 7 kids customers create. The theme for this challenge is "Distress ink". Oh boy... you know... I was kind of squeezed into a corner here. I love distress inks... I love the gorgeous cute colorful boxes they are stored in, but... in mixed media I don't often use them though. So I had few pads but soon figured they were mostly dry. So I decided to go out of the box and altered one of them to show you how you can always join the challenge even though in a different way. 

"There is always hope" art journal page

It's just four months since my dear dad went to Heaven and my family is allready facing new struggles. So this photo realy spoke to me and I decided to make an art journal page with it. It makes me feel better when I can put my thoughts, doubts and fears onto the paper. 

Here I used amazing AB studio stencils from talented Aga Baraniak, that you can find in her shop HERE. I used two beautiful stencils: 

- Stencil ID-61 and

- Stencil ID-36

I also used some gorgeous Lindy's gang products and Finnabair acrylic paints.

"Lavender Garden" altered wooden house

Hi dear friends. It's my turn on the Lindy's gang blog again today. I was brainstorming what to prepare for you as my monthly inspiration and I just wanted to play with the gorgeous combination of soft blue and soft purple Lindy's products. I ran across this amazing photo of Lavender Garden that I fell in love with! I love Lavender, so this was a perfect fit! I altered a small wooden house and made a Lavender Garden entrance out of it! Hope you'll like it!

Well... I can say that today is a very very special day for me. Today I'm sharing with you my first inspiration as a proud Brand Ambassador of amazing Graphic 45. This was my long-time wish and I'm so so happy that my dreams finally came true. 

For the month of June Brand Ambassadors were asked to join this month's Graphic 45 challenge, which is to create a "Self-portrait" project. That does not necessarily mean that you have to include your photo into the project, but more for you to make a project that reflects you, yout favourite techniques and materials used.

I was thinking for some time what to make and decided eventually to join three beautiful Graphic 45 collections - Botanical Tea Deluxe edition, Little Darlings Deluxe collection and Floral Shoppe - into an altered box with a Secret garden in a Tea cup and a little girl releasing the butterflies into the Garden.

I made a beautiful altered Seashell plate with gorgeous Graphic 45 Sun kissed collection, amazing Lindy's gang Magicals and breathtaking Prima marketing flowers. Lindy's gang June challenge

Hi dear Lindy's gang fans,

I can't believe it's allready June!!! Summer here I come!!! :D No seriously, I can't wait for sun, sea and a little off time. What about you? If you are feeling the same, then you'll love this month's Color challenge over at Lindy's blog. I love this gorgeous combination of warm yellow, green and red-pink tones. It reminded me of a window, dressed in summer blooms, so I made a canvas following this idea. I hope you'll like it and it cheers you up a bit!

I'm sharing today with you my second inspiration for the gorgeous stencils from AB studio from talented Aga Baraniak. This time I made a canvas art. Lately it is my go-to medium, I love the endless possibilities canvas gives. I was inspired by this month's Moodboard over at 7 dots studio. You can find Moodboard down bellow. Of course I combined everything with gorgeous Lindy's gang magicals and embossing powders.

Today I'm on my blog with you with my first DT post as a member of AB Studio by Aga Baraniak Design team. I love the stencil I received, the designs are absolutely gorgeous and the quality of the stencils is amazing! You have to try them, you won't regret it!

For quite some time now I've had my eyes on latest Dina Wakley Media Journal and my dear friend Klavdija, who owns a store Darilnica Klavdija, ordered it for me, so I was very anxious to try it off. I decided to join both of them together! I used illustration from amazing Carne Griffith as inspiration and part of my journal. After all the pain and hard things in my life in the last few years this illustration really spoke to me and Carne kindly let me use it for my art journal piece. He is not just a great artist, but also a great man! His pieces are timeless.

I absolutely love the result I got! Hope you'll like it too!

Magical Unicorn altered mixed media box

Hi dear crafty friends. :) It's my turn to inspire you today on Lindy's blog and mine. Today I have for you something soft, gentle, sweet and magical.  Inspired by a cake I saw some time ago,  I altered a box and turned it into a real Unicorn with gorgeous rainbow Unicorn's hair made with flowers and Lindy's Magical colors.

After some time I decided to again join Mixed media & Art challenge. April's challenge features such gorgeous collor scheme and such an amazing inspiration board. I instantly got the idea to join angel wings I made out of mould with a heart and some gorgeous mixed media Finnabair art supplies, joint with gorgeous Lindy's gang magicals for coloring. I also used some amazing 7 dots studio papers, Prima marketing flowers and gorgeous vintage Tim Holts paper dolls.

Today is first day of the month, which means new challenge on Lindy's gang blog. This month we have such gorgeous color palette, so many beautiful, warm colors. I believe each one of you can find yourself a color combination to work with within this palette. I love it. It reminded me of summer actually and since the photo besides it features a star, I decided to alter a small plate in a shape of starfish. I really really love how this turned out and I hope you'll like it too!

And since I didn't managed to join the rest of the team with the start of the challenge to give you some inspiration, I decided to join in the fun today. So I'm sharing with you some altered seashells I made with gorgeous shimmery Lindy's gang magicals and amazing Graphic 45 Sun kissed collection from the 7 kids Your crafting supply store. I added some beautiful Prima marketing flowers also and I sprinkled them with some glitter to add some interest.

Hi dear friends. I'm on Lindy's blog today again and this month I decided to go with a more neutral color palette, as it suits the April mood and also April Moodboard on Lindy's challenge. I made a mixed media canvas with lots of gorgeous natural Lindy's shades paired with beautiful 7 dots studio papers. I long wished to work with these gorgeous papers, perfect for mixed media and I finally had a chance to play with them. I hope you'll like my project and it inspires you to make your own creation, maybe even join our monthly challenge? :)

Fairie dance on a flower with Graphic 45

Hi my dear crafty friends,

Today I want to share with you my latest project with fairies playing on a flower blossom, made with one of the latest Graphic 45 collections Fairie dust. I love this collection, love the fairies, love the images and I looove the colors! They are a perfect fit for my taste! I also used papers from another fresh collection of theirs - Flower shoppe. I cut out a large blossom from Graphic 45 patterned paper, arrange the blossom center with some mixed media art supplies and then added fairies as if they were dancing and playing on the flower blossom. I used some gorgeous Lindy's gang magicals for coloring and some beautiful Prima marketing flowers.

I haven't had much of a time to play in my crafting studio these days, but I manage to make two tags, that I had in my mind for some time now. This time I used real tree bark as the base of my tags, because I wanted to achieve a real, rusty, natural look.

I fell in love with it the first time I layed my eyes on it and my dear Kelly from the 7 kids Your crafting supply store was kind enough to send it to me right away, including all the emphemera cards and stickers and everything! She is just the sweetest person ever and I can never thank her enough to be so kind and generous to me! We are allready in a month of March - a spring month, when everything blooms and nature invites and awakes us with its gorgeous colors and blossom's fragrances. Easter is fast approaching and I decided to join Lindy's, Spring and Easter together, and bring you beautiful spring Easter eggs in pots.

I leaned on this month's Lindy's challenge color palette, since I really really loved the gorgeous Moodboard for this month. It's been some time since I made last one and when I saw this photo of a woman, surrounded with butterflies, I knew immediately what I wanted to do and Graphic 45 Olde Curiostiy Shoppe collection with butterflies was perfect for it. For coloring I used gorgeous Lindy's gang Magicals and Magical shakers.

It's been some days, since I last shared on my blog. After my father's death I'm still having some hard times finding the strength and the will to make time for anything that isn't quite necessary. But today I decided to play again a bit and make a project that I had in my mind for quite some time allready. It is an altered coffee cup, like the ones you get in Starbucks for example. I decorated it with amazing Graphic 45 collection "Cafe Parisian" and used some gorgeous Lindy's for coloring. I added beautiful Scrapiniec chipboards and lovely Prima marketing flowers.

Today I have something different for you. I was so happy to receive the latest Graphic 45 Sun Kissed collection. It is one of the most beautiful paper collections ever and I have so so many ideas for it. But first... I made so many altered embroidery hoop dream catchers allready, but this time I decided to spice up things a bit and make a 3D "sun catcher". I hope you'll like it!

Since the last few sad days and weeks I was having troubles creating beautiful things. I told my dear friend Jammie that it is like you are in a dark and trying to create something beautiful and it gets realy hard sometimes. So she said... create something sad, something dark, to give all that saddness and darkness out of you. And this photo spoked to me and I found it fits perfectly to new Prima marketing Amelia Rose collection. So I made two tags.
