Blossoming Wheelbarrow for Wild Orchid Crafts

Today it is a special day... I have my very first project to share with you as a Wild Orchid Crafts Design Team member. I really adore Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and it is a great joy and honour beeing choosen as their designer. I wanted to prepare something special and since I love exploding boxes and can't wait for the spring to come, I made an exploding box with a Secret garden and blossoming wheelbarrow in the garden. Besides various gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers I also used Maja Design papers and some Scrapiniec chipboards.

I've also made a youtube tutorial for you. Hope you'll like my very first project for the awesome Wild Orchid Crafts and that it inspires you somehow.

I used several Wild Orchid Crafts products for this box. You can get yours and much more at the WOC webshop:

Thank you so much for joining me today. Have fun and hope to see you again soon here at my happy place! :)

Hugs,
Aleksandra

Sweet Valentine

I finally managed to find some time to play with my Graphic 45 art journal again. Since it is the month of "Love" and since Valentine's day is fast approaching I decided to made a page full of love. I used two Graphic 45 collections - Sweet sentiments and 12 days of Christmas. They go together so well! I just love how this page turned out. What about you? Like it? :)

I didn't forget all of you who want to learn how to make one by yourself so there is a youtube tutorial at the end of my post.

Have a great day my friends and give love to people around you! <3

Hugs,
Aleksandra

Butterfly tree trunk nest

I just love Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook collection. It's like it was made for me. The love at first sight! :) So I went and played a little bit more with it. I took a glass jar and made a tree trunk with it. I fussy cut a bunch of butterflies from the Nature Sketcbook papers and attached them to a wire and position them so it seems like butterflies are flying from their nest in the tree trunk. I fussy cut also a lot of grass plants and ferns along with some tiny insects and bees. I like how it turned out. I added a quote that is a part of the collection and is one of my favourite ones. It says: "Happiness is like a butterfly. If you sit down quietly, it may light upon you."

I made a video tutorial and you can find it at the end of this post. Hope you'll like my project and enjoy the tutorial.

Hugs,
Aleksandra

Timeless Love layout

Today I've tried myself in making a layout after a long long time. Over at More than Words there is a new challenge with a Word inspiration "Together" and the creative part of the challenge which is to use the Ampersand (picture with link to the challenge at the and of the post). The first thing that crossed my mind is the pregnancy as one of the most beatiful seasons in a life of a woman, waiting for her child to be born. A part of her, which she carried for 9 months and will eventually become a miracle of life. But always remained a part of her in the most cherished place of her heart.

I used 13 arts papers from "Timeless" collection and a bunch of 13 arts mediums, some gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards and lovely Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

I also have a video tutorial for you. I hope you'll like the projects. I'll be happy to hear your thoughts in the comment section. I happily read every and each one of them and am deeply gratefull for the time you take to leave some love in my "happy place".

Have a great day!
Hugs,
Aleksandra

"Color your life" artist palette box

Quite some time ago I made my first artist palette box. It was quite different from the one I'm going to share with you today. I made this one as a Guest Designer over at Scrap Africa blog, where design team members with amazing Denise honoured me with a "Top Hat" award for my previous entry to the challenge. When I saw the gorgeous Mood board colors I knew right away what I'm going to make.

I used lots of 13 arts mediums and also papers from "Aura Rosa" collection and added lots of Scrapiniec chipboard embellishement and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. I hope you'll like it. There is video tutorial for you at the end of the post.

Thank you again to the amazing team of Scrap Africa for this wonderful opportunity. And to all of you... don't forget to play along with this months gorgeous challenge! I'm looking forward seeing your entries. :)

And while I have the chance, I'm thrilled to share with you yet another amazing news. I'll be also joining Wild Orchid Crafts Design team for the year 2017. I'm so happy and so honoured and looking forward creating with their gorgeous flowers in the team of an amazing artists. Thank you so much Wild Orchid Crafts for the honour and for this amazing opportunity. Hop over also to Wild Orchid Crafts blog for tons of inspiration!

Have a great day my friends!

"Dream Garden" ballerina shoes

I just love turning unusual objects into art. And these ballerina shoes were no exception. I have my book of ideas where I put down everything that pops in my mind and I think it could be great for a project. I had my Ballerina shoes in there for quite some time. But since I haven't had the idea quite clear yet on what to do with them, they stayed safe inside. But few days ago I got the idea on how to upgrade them to art and although I didn't quite know what I should do next, I went with the flow. And this is what came out of it. I have to say I adore them! They will be hanging in my daughter's bedroom to warm her heart each day!

I also made a video, if you want to make one for yourself. Hope you'll like it!

Hugs,
Aleksandra
