Summer is whispering goodbye

Hello dear crafty friends. Yes... it is sadly true... summer is slowly whispering goodbye. Tomorrow school starts here in Slovenia and this usually means that we get caught up in a constant hurry to catch up all the appointments and assignements from kids and all off our obligations too. So I'm not so much looking forward to it. I love layed back rithem of summer days. So I got a bit nostalgic and I altered two gorgeous seashells for my todays project over on Scrapiniec blog. I hope you'll like them. I enjoyed making them so so much!

Today I wanted to share something a bit different with you. If you didn't noticed yet, 7 kids Your crafting supply store has some of amazing gorgeous L.D.R.S. Polka doodles stamps from the Winnie in Wonderland collection. I decided to go with the "Time for Tea" stamp and pair it with some gorgeous Prima and Finnabair goodies. We just spent our family weekend at the seaside and it felt so so good to relax a bit. I came home full of fresh ideas and energy to complete my projects. And today I would like to share with you my new canvas I made - explore, wander, discover, dream passionately. Heritage road art journal with Prima and Finnabair

Hi dear friends, I'm with you today again with some fresh Finnabair and Prima inspiration for you. From our fabulous 7 kids Your crafting supply store I received this gorgeous Tiny Frank Garcia journal with thick chipboard covers and pages. It's awesome! At first I wanted to use it for a mini album, but then changed my mind precisely because of this gorgeous thick pages that have enough of place in between to add lots of dimensional embellishments. So I decided to turn it into art journal pages. Today I share with you the first two art journal pages I made. Hope you'll like them. :)

This post wasn't planned today but sometimes things in life just go unexpected ways. So I'm sharing today with you one more project of mine with gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards from one of my favourite new collections Mamma's Porch. Those adorable sweet images remind me of a home and carefree childhood days and I'm specially fond of them. I had in my mind an idea to alter a paintbrush for some time now, but didn't knew exactly what I wanted to make out of it. But when I saw this collection I knew right away. I love how it turned out. This time I decided to make some fresh, summer tags, using some mixed media Art ingredients from Prima and Finnabair and some elements and papers from two gorgeous Prima collections - Rose Quartz and Wild&Free. Hope you'll like them. :) I also used some Lindy's magicals - I just loooooooove them to bits! It's amazing what gorgeous spectrum of colors they give. So beautiful!

"Beautiful sealife" altered fish can with Prima and Finnabair

I took few days off since my last month was really hectic and today I'm back with another project of mine, featuring amaaazing Finnabair and Prima products. And I also added some chipboards from various manufacturers and some Lindy's products. I made mixed media altered fish can. I'm kind of happy how it turned out. I just looove playing with different mediums, it gives me such a joy! Hope you will like my project too! :)

I'm back with you today again and this time I prepared something a little bit different for you. I used to loved making gift sets of earings in a gift box. It's been some time since I made last one and few days ago I was holding Metal trinkets & Alphas package from Prima in my hands and this gorgeous metal trinkets reminded me of earings. So I went searching for a perfect Prima stamp to pair with them. And I stopped by this gorgeous Prima stamp set from the Love clippings collection "To the moon and back". I used a stamp of the galactic circle and stamped it on white shrink plastic. I heated it up and got this perfectly sized circle to put inside. So I colored metal trinkets with Finnabair patina pastes and addes some gorgeous rhinestones from the new Prima collection St. Tropez. I made a galactic box to go with them to store the earings in it. Hope you'll like my project. I will be happy to read your comments. :)

"A gift from Heaven" altered lantern with Prima and Finnabair

Today I share with you an altered lantern "A gift from Heaven" with a lovely little baby sleeping in angel wings, surrounded with little furry friends that are watching over him and a heavenly violin is playing sweet song. Made with Prima marketing "Heaven sent" collection and some Finnabair art ingredients. I made the baby and the angel wings with polymer clay.

Altered straw hat "Summer vacation" with Prima and Finnabair

Hello my dear friends. :)

I'm continuing to alter summer requisites, today I did a makeover of a summer straw hat. I colored it with three coats of heavy white gesso and one coat of a texture paste, because I had very colorful hat to alter and I wanted to cover the colors of the hat. Then I lightly colored it using Finnabair Patina pastes green and blue. And they I started creating a sea arround it and building a composition using two summer Prima editions - St. Tropez and French Riviera. I created a seaside scene. The lighthouse and the boat are made of paper. Hope you'll like it. There is also a video tutorial at the end for those of you who fancies it. :)

Heaven sent puffy cloud on altered ladle with Prima and Finnabair

I had my eyes on Prima Heaven sent collection from the first day I saw it. But sadly haven't had a chance to play with it until recently. And yesterday I created a lovely puffy little cloud on an altered soup ladle. I added a little baby on top of the cloud with lots of animal pals to keep him safe. I even created little raindrops falling down from the cloud. Hope you'll like it. I also have a video tutorial for you. Try to make one! It's really quite simple project!

Altered beach slippers with Prima and Finnabair

Well... it seems I can not part from my St. Tropez Prima collection. Ideas are rushing through my head and I just had to share this one with you today. Few days ago I was cleaning kids shoe closet and I was holding my daughters beach slippers ready to give them away... but... wait... which mixed media crafter would do that right? :D So I decided to alter them and of course St. Tropez Prima collection which I just then received in my mailbox was perfect for this. So this is what I made and I hope you'll like it. I do have new summer video tutorial for you on my youtube channel of course.

I was so eagerly waiting for my package with newest Prima marketing release Saint Tropez to arrive. So many ideas poped-up in my mind and I was so happy when I finally got it in my hands last week. Yesterday late evening when I put my kids to sleep I finally found some time to play with it. And I loooove this collection to bits! It's just amazing. I have quite few project up my sleeve but today I'm ready to show you my first one. It's another one in my series of floating cups - this time with a sea waterfall Saint Tropez with a blue lagoon and a small boat floating in a bay.

Hope you are having fun this weekend! We just came back from a little hiking trip with our kids and now I have the time to finish off my post for you. Today I have a new project with Prima and Finnabair goodies from 7kids Your Crafting supply store to shar with you. It's a heart shaped tray which I altered with some White gesso and texture paste and added some art stones and some opal magic and sparks art alchemy paints. And inside I made a composition with Prima resin bridge and some chipboards and some fussy cut elements from Love clippings collection. Hope you'll like it.

The end of the school year is almost here. I have three kids and this time of the year is very special to them. So it is special and important for me also. A large part of their daily time is spent in school and in kindergarten. They have the best teachers in the whole world, that treat them as their own and help them to grow and spread their wings. And they deserve some appreciation and thanks. And this exploding box seems just perfect for it.

Door to the Happiness

Today it was time for some "free" crafting and it was my first time ever trying out two gorgeous products - Dusty Attic chipboards I've been admiring for sooo long and 49 and Market with its gorgeous flowers and 3D stickers... oh my.... let me tell you... I fell in love with both of them. And of course my beloved Lindy's Stamp gang sprays. I just received a package this week with some new colors and I had to try them out, so I decided to create something for their monthly challenge.

I was inspired by colors of this month's Prima Moodboard and made this warm, spring almost summer canvas with a gorgeous quote from Prima Rose Quartz collection: The flower doesen't dream of the bee. It blossoms and the bee comes.  I hope you'll like my project. I'll be so happy to hear your thoughts. :)

You are my world, my whole universe - Prima and Finnabair exploding box

Hello friends :)

I'm back with you today again for the second time, with some fresh Prima and Finnabair inspiration. Those of you who know my work allready, know, that I am absolutely in love with making exploding boxes with miniatures inside. But.... :) believe it or not I never made one with Prima and Finnabair goodies! How is that even possible??!! So today I'm sharing with you my first one. On the outside and inside of the box I tried to recreate the universe, with stars and galaxies and when the box opens there is an earth globe hidden inside of it - like the Earth in the Universe. I also added a plane flying around the world and some map with a heart clock and a pen. I used some gorgeous paper cards from collections Wild&Free and Love clippings to embellish sides of the box. I hope you'll like my project. I'll be so happy to hear your thoughts. :)

I'm here with you today with some new inspiration for my beloved Scrapiniec chipboards! They are amazing!
